Natalie takes the evening that is meant to be the whole of a night rather than a stop inside one. Ukrainian, Russian and English are all available to her, and the switching is something she does rather than something she remarks on. She is twenty-six, she starts out from De Pijp, and the crossing into the centre from there is short at the hours she works. Four hands with a second therapist is an arrangement she times carefully where a guest asks for it, and she is honest about which lengths it suits. On a two night trip she would put that one on the night with nothing behind it.

Natalie decides which bookings she takes and may decline any of them; she sets the limits for what a session includes, says what they are, and may end a visit at any point, as the terms set out.
