An overnight stop is the trip Brielle handles often: arrive at six, eat something, and give the hour between nine and eleven to a booking. Starting from inside the Centrum shortens the part of an evening nobody enjoys, and on a single night that counts for more than it does across a weekend. French, Dutch and English are all hers to work in, so a guest can use whichever comes easiest to him at the end of a travelling day. Twenty-two, red-haired, and steadier with a nervous first-time guest than the age suggests. She would rather be told the departure time at the start than discover it at half past ten.
